Fintech Enterprise Sales Executive - Midtown NYC

Requires: 2 - 4 years sales experience in the financial technology fintech industry, strong new-logo hunter skills, exp selling into alt space is strongly preferred


Our client is a leading technology solutions and consulting firm serving the alternative investment management industry. The firm’s solutions include enterprise and cloud-based fintech software, and the company also provides consulting and operational managed services.


The firm seeks an experienced and highly motivated hunter/new logo sales professional to sell its industry-leading solutions and services to the Asset Management industry, including hedge funds, private equity firms, family offices and other asset managers.


Responsibilities of the Fintech Enterprise Sales Executive:

  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound calls and emails;

  • Understand the needs and requirements of growing hedge funds and asset managers;

  • Understand and promote the company’s product suite and value proposition;

  • Achieve quarterly quotas for generating qualified leads;

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales revenue targets;

  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest;

  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects;

  • Effectively utilizing the firm’s team of product and industry experts to advance the sales effort;

  • Maintaining knowledge of industry trends, competitive technology/solutions, and

  • Identifying potential new product and service opportunities for the company.


Qualifications

Qualifications of the Fintech Enterprise Sales Executive:

  • 2 to 4 years of enterprise software/solutions sales experience in the financial technology (fintech) industry, preferably with a tech or service provider;

  • Bachelor’s degree;

  • Quota track record;

  • True sales hunter mentality with experience prospecting, building a pipeline;

  • Excellent communication skills and client-facing demo & presentation skills;

  • Working knowledge of financial services/asset management and workflows of alternative investments (i.e. hedge funds, PE, family offices etc);

  • Demonstrated success managing clients and/or prospect relationships in the above markets;

  • Strength in building strong relationships with C-level executives and their teams;

  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude that is focused on success.
