LINUX System Administrator
Linux system administrator / engineer with strong experience deploying, managing and supporting in-house maintained/developed applications. Also, install/maintain/upgrade of COTS applications. Thrives in a fast-paced environment requiringserver build, package and application deploys and updates. Strong systemand application debug and tuning skills. Ability to provision Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments. Networking, packet capture/analysis, firewall, route, and switch experience are necessary. Service monitor and alert development and implementation. Must be collaborative with the ability to participate in system design, integration and documentation process. Ability to produce implementation/change management plans, concise documentation, diagrams, KB articles and FAQs.
OS: RedHat/CentOS/RockyLinux/Debian required - system setup(VM/physical), hardening, firewall-cmd/iptables, patching (yum/dnf, SpaceWalk/Uyuni), compile and build package from source, user management, sudoers
